Just the other day we spoke about the a diving watch from now uber-brand Girard-Perregaux that was a great alternative to the more mainstream divers of the 60s (ie. Submariner, Fifty Fathoms, Seamaster). Today we have found yet another 60s GP that is a very solid alternative another mainstay in the watch game...the Jaeger LeCoultre Wrist Alarm.

We have featured a few (like this one) and they are really cool old watches, but you can find them all over, and with drastically varying levels of authenticity. The wrist alarm we have here is equally as cool, and in our opinion a more interesting choice.

This GP is a mechanical wind in stainless steel that is completely original. It is also functioning perfectly (according to the seller) and comes with their own 1 year warranty. The best part about this a mechanical alarm is, like we've said in the past, the sound it makes when it chimes. The sound that comes out of these watches is really incredible.

Another reason we are so keen on this watch is the price. It is being sold for only $1500 where a Jaeger version in this condition will cost you well over $2000, if not more. This is classic watch from a very well respected company at a price to move...definitely worth a look.
